The Dean of the School, Prof. Kristian Sabo, PhD, welcomed the new students and introduced them to Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek and the School.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students were introduced to the School\u2019s study programmes, management, and administrative and professional services. They also received all the necessary information about the organization of classes during the winter semester, including communication via Microsoft Teams, course registration, and the use of class schedules. Preparatory courses designed to facilitate the transition to university-level studies were also presented.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Representatives of the School\u2019s Student Council introduced the Buddy Programme, through which senior students help newcomers integrate more easily into the academic community. They also presented Freshers\u2019 Week, which offers new students an opportunity to get to know one another and socialize. Students were also informed about the services and opportunities available through the Student Centre.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We wish our new students a successful start to their studies and every success and satisfaction throughout their time at the School of Applied Mathematics and Informatics.<\/p>\n\n<figure
