History
The journal Mathematical Communications was established in 1996 under the leadership of Rudolf Scitovski and has since been published by the School of Applied Mathematics and Informatics, University of Osijek (previously Department of Mathematics). Through dedication and adherence to high-quality standards, the journal quickly earned a reputation for excellence. Initially, it welcomed contributions from all areas of mathematics. In 2025, the journal's scope was refined to align more closely with the scientific expertise of the research groups within the School of Applied Mathematics and Informatics.
