Submission Guidelines

Manuscripts are submitted using online submission system. First time users will have to register for the Author role.

There is no page limit for manuscripts. However, authors are encouraged to ensure that their work is concise and focused, presenting ideas and results clearly and efficiently.

The corresponding author takes responsibility for the manuscript during the submission, peer review and production process. All communication from submission to publication will be with the corresponding author.

The manuscript should be submitted as a single PDF file.

Review process

The Mathematical Communications employs single-blind reviewing, in which the reviewer is unknown to the author, but the identity of the author is known to the reviewer.

The Editors first evaluate all manuscripts. In some cases, the Editors will return a paper promptly to its author(s) at this stage because it clearly does not match the journal's stated interests or level of quality. The Editors are responsible for the final decision.

Revised manuscript

Revised manuscripts should be uploaded within 6 weeks of authors receiving a decision of minor or major revision. The revised manuscript should be uploaded as a single PDF file. The authors also have the option to upload the response to the reviewers when submitting the revised manuscript.

Final submission (manuscript accepted for publication)

Once the submission is accepted, the corresponding author will receive instructions for submitting LaTeX source of the final version of the accepted manuscript, as well as all figures and other source files. The final version of the manuscript should be formatted using the Mathematical Communications template, following the instructions available here (dodati link).

Proof correction

The corresponding author will receive a proof of the paper for checking before it is published. The purpose of the proof correction is to correct errors that may have occurred during the production process. No significant changes should be made in this step. The galley proofs should be corrected and returned within 5 working days.

Copyright Notice and Privacy Statement

Submission of an original manuscript to the Mathematical Communications will be taken to mean that it represents original work not previously published, that it is not being considered elsewhere for publication; and, if accepted for publication, it will be published in print and online form and it will not be published elsewhere in the same form, for commercial purposes, in any language, without the consent of the publisher. The journal takes the stance that the publication of scholarly research is meant to disseminate knowledge and, in a not-for-profit regime, benefits neither publisher nor author financially. It sees itself as having an obligation to its authors and to society to make content available online.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
