Graduate program – Mathematics and Computer Science

The graduate program in Mathematics and Computer Science is a prestigious program whose main goal is to educate excellent professionals in the IT industry. This program is designed for students who have completed an undergraduate program in Mathematics and Computer Science or a related field of study.

“Related field of study” refers to a program connected or closely aligned thematically or in content with another field of study. If you have completed an undergraduate program in computer science or mathematics, you are likely a suitable candidate for our Mathematics and Computer Science graduate program.

The quality, expertise, and innovation of our students are also attested by the research conducted by the Osijek Software City association titled “Knowledge and Skills of Students from Osijek Faculties,” wherein employers from the IT sector expressed their opinions on the software development knowledge and skills acquired by students from our university during their education. The research involved 12 major companies based in Osijek or Zagreb, employing over 1,000 individuals primarily in software development. Our students were recognized as the best in nearly all categories.

Academic Title Obtained Upon Completion of the Program: University Master of Mathematics (univ. mag. math.)

Study Duration: Two years (four semesters), with a minimum requirement of 120 ECTS credits

Study Status: Full-time

Completion of the Program: Pass all exams and complete a master’s thesis involving independent research and presentation of the assigned topic in written form.
