MathOS Cup

Basic Information

The MathOS Cup is a team-based, dynamic, and entirely different high school student competition organized in two sections.

Section Mathematics;
Section Programming.

The organizers of the MathOS Cup are the School of Applied Mathematics and Informatics of the University of Josip Juraj Strossmayer in Osijek, III. Gymnasium Osijek (Mathematics section), Gymnasium Požega (Programming section), with the support of the Association of Mathematicians Osijek.

The competition in both sections is organized in two rounds, during which teams of three students solve problem tasks. The first round takes place online, while the second round is held live at the School of Applied Mathematics and Informatics of the University of Osijek for the most successful teams.

For all participants in the second round of the MathOS Cup, the School of Applied Mathematics and Informatics at the University of Osijek, within the scoring of special achievements, acknowledges the maximum number of points for enrollment in the Undergraduate Program in Mathematics and the Undergraduate Program in Mathematics and Computer Science. The top-performing teams will win valuable prizes.
