# Goal and scope

Osijek Mathematical Gazette publishes works in mathematics and computer science aimed at, but not limited to, elementary and high school teachers and mathematics/computer science students.

In addition to regular articles, it includes supplements: Notes from the history of mathematics, Stories with problem-solving challenges, information from the School of Applied Mathematics and Informatics, information from the Association of Mathematicians Osijek, information from the Mathematical Club, etc. Since 2001, it has been regularly published twice a year under the name Osijek Mathematical School (Osječka matematička škola) (from 2001 to 2004) and since 2005 under the name Osijek Mathematical Gazette (Osječki matematički list).

Published regularly – 2 times a year.

A copy is free of charge to active members of the Association of Mathematicians Osijek.

The journal does not charge for printing works per page.

# Review process

Each manuscript undergoes peer review according to the following procedures:

**Initial manuscript assessment. **The editors first assess all manuscripts. In many cases, at this stage, editors return the manuscript to the authors if it does not meet the interests of the journal and the expected level of quality. Manuscripts that meet the minimum criteria are typically forwarded to at least two reviewers.

**Types of professional review. **Osijek Mathematical Gazette conducts single-blind peer review, where the reviewer is unknown to the author, but the author’s identity is known to the reviewer.

**Final report. **The reviewers advise the editors. The editorial decision to accept or reject the manuscript will be promptly communicated to the author, along with appropriately detailed explanations.

**The editorial decision is final. **The editors are responsible for the final decision to accept or reject the manuscript; in that case, the process concludes.
