Undergraduate program in Mathematics and Computer Science

The university undergraduate program in Mathematics and Computer Science has been developed in collaboration with member companies of the Osijek Software City association, modeled after similar Computer Science undergraduate studies in European and American universities. The fundamental goal of this program is to shape a curriculum that better prepares students for the job market in the IT sector, one of the fastest-growing industries in the Republic of Croatia.

The curriculum of the undergraduate university program in Mathematics and Computer Science is unique in its structure and subject content precisely because it integrates knowledge and skills from two fields: mathematics and computer science. The structure of the proposed study program is inspired by the undergraduate Computer Science programs at Saarland University, Saarbruecken, and the University of Stuttgart.

Computers are good at following instructions, but not at reading your mind.
