In February, the international mathematics competition “International Youth Math Challenge” concluded. The competition is intended for high school and university students from all around the world. Schools and universities from more than 100 countries participated, placing it among the larger international competitions of this kind, and our students achieved excellent results.
The Mathematical Colloquium in the regular schedule on Thursdays at 2:00 PM is organized by the School of Applied Mathematics and Informatics in collaboration with the Association of Mathematicians Osijek.

The Statistical Seminar of the School of Applied Mathematics and Informatics was established in November 2017 with the intention of presenting various topics in applied and mathematical statistics.
The Association of Mathematicians Osijek is a scientific-professional association founded in 1993 with the goal of promoting mathematics and related sciences, as well as the application of mathematics in other disciplines.
